Well its been a while since I have posted here. So I thought Id ask the question of what everyone has planned for the xmas break?

Has anyone got plans to do some personal detailing to their cars or friends cars?

Me? I plan to paint my brake calipers and disc rotors. Unsure on what color yet, but leaning towards ford blue or gunmetal grey. Red I find is a too common color.

Then another GLARE detail to the car to keep my skills up to scratch.

I have plans to get some scratches sprayed out of the car next year too.

Hey Shav,

Ill be working over the break, setting up the new store at Newton.

Nice weather permitting going to take the rotary out for a few drives, when the opportunity arises.

Hopefully eating lots of food and drinking lots of beverages.

What about everyone else?

ehh... as always, I'll be busy with my family, hopefully I get the chance of going out and have a drive too. Detailing wise not much happening really, car has been wrapped in cover for the last month, and not much I can improve on the current condition with the crappy skill I have.

Well I'm not getting much of a break this year, stupid work.  I was planning on going up to Qld for the USA vs Aust Nitro FunnyCar race but can't get the time off work, despite the office's advertised shut down of 2 weeks.

So I'll spend the days I do have off playing with cars.  The former owner of the blue VS I did last month wants his Subaru done, and I need to finally put in that spare headlight that I've had sitting in a box in the shed for like 6 months.  Finally my car will have 2 good headlights!

Tell us about the Newton shop Joe.  Will be good to not have to pack lunch for a trip to buy some products!
