The AJD juggernaut rolls back into town once again in 2010!

This year, we’re aiming to roll out 5 events across the nation, but of course we’re starting where it all began, in Adelaide. To try and avoid the monsoonal weather conditions of the last couple of years, we’ve moved this year’s event forward to 28 February, and we’ll be back at Wigley Reserve, Anzac Highway, Glenelg.

This year, entrants will need to pre-pay via PayPal (using a credit card or paypal account) with your application before it can be accepted (if you don’t have PayPal and credit card facilities, contact us and we can process your application manually), to save us the dramas of chasing up no-shows from previous years.

Aside from that, what else has changed? Ummmmm…well…not much really. It’s still $10 for entrants, free for spectators (although we’d appreciate a gold coin donation), and all profits raised from the Adelaide event this year will go to the Cancer Council SA.

For more information about the event and to enter this year, check out our website – ALL JAPAN DAY – and follow the relevant links.

The event is only about six weeks away, so don’t dilly-dally, fiddle-faddle or piss-fart around, entrant numbers are limited so it’s first-in first-served!

We look forward to seeing you all again this year, let’s make this one huge!

Cheers
The AJD committee

Anybody going this year?

I'm entered, but don't know if I'll actually be able to go.  If we don't, I'll be giving the car keys to a mate and telling him to enter it for me.

Also, cbf posting a different thread, have a look at this.  Short notice, but I only saw yesterday.

ADELAIDE MOTORPLEX
Cruise to the Track, Australia Day 2010

There will be maps of each route posted in the next few days. We are working on an Invitation to be sent to all State and Federal Politicians to accompany us on the Cruise.

CBF posting the map, click the motorplex link.  If we're back (we're going down to Coonawarra for the drag racing there) then we'll go but I'm not sure.

Hey Brash,

There were about 280 cars I think the event organisers told me.

Good turn out and display. There were 6 members from my FD club with cars on display, which I think was the most ever from FD boys.

Weather was interesting, warm and windy!

There were a few nice old school cars also.

Go to the all jap day website as there were a few photos taken.
