Just recently bought my first ever bottle of Prima Amigo from D & S in Lonsdale the other day.

Boy that stuff is 'sexual chocolate'. It just enhances shine to another level.

I used it AFTER pro polish as I didnt know it had to be used before hand, and to me, it still had a great effect.

I will try and apply it BEFORE pro next time to see what benefits it has.

What is the best method you have found with Amigo?

Its is AMAZING stuff.
And it makes the paint so slickkkkk

Now you can see why i love it so much lol.
Amigo works great when applied by hand, or by orbital.
Id say test both and see what result you like the best. Either way you get great results with it.

I find that the longer it is left on the paint, the richer the colour becomes.

Amigo must be used before a protective sealant as Amigo is designed to be a paint cleanser and enricher of colour.

It doesnt have any protective properties.

Hope this helps.

Well well the big mans back with a bang hahaha :p
As Joe said it dosent have any protective qualities in it, so applying before a sealant is the best option.
Sorry should have said that in my earlier post

Or use it as the base of a few glazes and then a sealant
I like this combo

Zero, P1 or CSI Ceram X4 x 2 to 5 pads up to 80 or 90ppi
Finished with Zero, Amigo, Blackfire GEP, Driven Marine x 2 (for max colour enrichment) or for ultimate shine at the factory colour shade - Zero, Micro, Amigo, Pro Polish, Glare Advanced

This week's TIP - surface prep is everything
Dewax the paint then remove all the silicone off the paint before starting paint correction or non abrasive paint rejuvination.

I tried it on wiggy's EB yesterday as a test.

style magic
Bilt hamber clay
Glare knockout (preheated in bucket of hot water) used Orange large pad with DA
Glare micro with Large orange pad
Prima Amigo by hand using black hand pad & left residue on for some time
White DA pad with Glare Pro Polish
Glare Pro polish with black hand pad
Aussie Gold

This was done on the boot lid and bootlip spoiler alone. Time taken was 2 hours. Speed on DA was at 5, then down 1 speed every 2-3 passes 'slowly' till top results happened at level 1.

Im finding that preheating the bottle of Knockout in a hot bucket of water 20mins prior to applying makes the product far more easier to apply and spreads heaps further than not.

Over all the results were terrific compared to the condition the car was in prior. The car had been sitting in a shed for about 5 years, and prior to being driven the car has never had so much attention lavished on it ever removing the dirt was the hardest task. There was a thick layer of dirt and grime that came off and with the clay bar the car looked about 4 shades brighter alone. Was great to see an e-series car look the best it has since being released from factory in the early 90's.
